Poskota.co.id is a new business unit of PT Media Antarkota Jaya (MAJ), as the publisher of Pos Kota Newspaper.
Pos Kota Newspaper itself was published on April 15 1970 with the tagline Indpenden Daily and is known as one of the legendary newspapers in Indonesia to this day.
The origins of poskota.co.id began with the publication of poskotanews.com in 2009 as an effort to answer the needs of the reading public for actual news that could be consumed online in the digital era. Moreover, internet users continue to increase from year to year.
In 2020, the name poskotanews.com then changed to poskota.co.id.
Coinciding with the 51st Anniversary of Pos Kota Newspaper on April 15 2021, PT MAJ is expanding its online media business wings to a number of provinces to expand the scope of reporting and more diverse reporting.
This momentum is used as Poskota’s first step towards change, by transforming from conventional media to digital media.
